Ground Breaking for Williamston Middle School, June 2011

Martin County School Superintendent Ron Melchiorre addresses onlookers at the dedication of the Williamston Middle School located on U.S. 17 South.


Local county and city elected officials prepare to turn the earth for the ground breaking ceremony.

 

The first annual Roanoke Derby was held on Monday, May 2nd due to the dangerous weather system that blew through our state on the originally scheduled date of Thursday, April 28th. Monday's weather couldn't have been any better – lots of sunshine and a gentle breeze.
