| Summer Employment Opportunity Program
The Chamber will be Co-Sponsoring the SEOP with Joblink. This new program is designed to better equip the youth of Martin County with experience and skills needed to compete globally in the 21st century workforce. High school students with the highest GPA will be chosen and provided with summer employment. The students will be given 12 hours of work readiness training prior to employment. The employment term will be from 6 to 8 weeks during the summer break We are looking for employers to offer these students a minimum of 20 weeks per week at minimum wage. We would like your organization to sponsor one or more positions for the summer. Our goal is to start training those individuals who will one day be the future of our county.
