Dear Chamber Member,
I am excited about our sixty year anniversary and all the new things going on at the Chamber. This year at the Martin County Chamber I have stated our motto and theme to be, “It’s A New Season, It’s A New Day!” I truly believe that our best days lie ahead and that we have so much to be thankful for and we need to realize that we live and work in the greatest county in the state. Yes, we have challenges, but they are small in comparison to our soon-to-be-realized gains. These gains will come in the form of new businesses and new opportunities. In these economic times in which we are currently living, it is easy to see the negative, but I believe through faith and hard work we can realize unbelievable growth.
Our newly installed Board of Directors has accepted their roles and look forward to the coming year. I believe our Board is made up of competent, forward-thinking individuals who can take our Chamber of Commerce to the next level. We ask all Chamber members to bring any ideas, concerns, or input to our staff or Board of Directors.
This coming year brings many new and exciting events to our calendar. I personally ask each and every Chamber member to try and attend as many of these events as possible. The networking opportunities that we have planned will certainly help you in your own business and should pay huge dividends. My Dad told me a long time ago a simple saying and I have applied it to my personal and business life. “If you will work, it will work!” Although a simple statement, it is quite profound. If you become an active, supportive member of this Chamber, you will reap many benefits. These benefits come in the form of new business opportunities, new social outlets, and most importantly, new friends. Don’t miss your opportunity! Get involved and let’s continue to make Martin County the greatest county in the state.
Your most important job this coming year is to become a part of the greatest team in the state. That team is the Martin County Chamber of Commerce and your involvement is what makes it great! Thanks for your support and let’s make our sixtieth year one to remember!
Continued Success and God Bless!
